David Byrne Hollywood Bowl Concert reviews
Dynamic
David Byrne took Pink Floyd music to another level, simply put. Well, David Byrne is able to take it to the next level as if the original band had kept going. Many of us have seen the many Pink Floyd cover bands touring the Country, and they all play Pink Floyd music very well and provide a similar stage show to what Pink Floyd staged 40 years ago. That show was incredible, a little political, but satirical and in good taste. While I will always be more partial to David Gilmour as a vocalist and a musician, I'm not quite sure he can still put on a production like we saw the other night. I loved the show, except for the absence of an encore.
